Yesterday all through the day all our sites were down!
There was absolutely no traffic on any of the nodes.
A traffic drop was caused on 20th itself but we thought it must be the WEEKEND effect and didnt look into it properly.
On 21st we saw some weird signs on the server and this made us look deep inside . But all our tweaks and setting changes were of no use as the server was not responding properly no matter what we did!
Finally we had to take the hard step and format the whole Operating system on the server and this extended our downtime. Due to a server backup online the sites still showed up but were not function causing confusion to many users!
It took us nearly 6 hours to get the whole setup back!
Cause of this downtime:
Pretty much unknown as this was a somewhat combined effect of some PHP errors and excessive ram usage!
Neways all sites were back and we would like to thank our users for having some patience with us !
